DAY 1: ARRIVAL & INTENTION SETTING

5:00 PM – Welcome & Check-In
• Guests receive a cooling hibiscus & moringa infusion upon arrival.

All of our recipes are made with gluten-free, whole food vegan ingredients, designed by nature to build health and taste delicious at the same time! 

We support local farmers growing organically and give back to our community.

What types of accommodations are available?

Welcome to Nicaragua—a land of raw beauty, rugged landscapes, and untamed nature. Life here is simple, rustic, and real. You’ll hear the calls of howler monkeys at dawn, see butterflies dancing in the air, and feel the warm earth beneath your feet. There will be bugs, geckos, and the occasional curious critter, but that’s part of the magic. This environment pushes you out of your comfort zone while holding you in its wild, grounding embrace. It’s a place to reconnect—to yourself, to the elements, and to the rhythm of nature.

Most accommodations offer a double bed in a private room or a shared dorm option. If you’re traveling with a friend or partner, you’re welcome to share a bed at a discounted rate.

This is an eco-conscious retreat experience. There are no air conditioners, but we have fans and bare feet are welcome. Showers are hot but we encourage short, mindful showers. Wi-Fi is available, but consider this your invitation to unplug, slow down, and fully immerse yourself in the experience.

The Om Island Retreat Center on Ometepe Island, Nicaragua, is located conveniently near Moyogalpa, the main port on the island. From Moyogalpa, it’s about a 10-15 minute drive to the retreat, accessible by private car, tuk-tuk, or taxi.
